MINIMUM DRIVE-AWAY TIME 

Drive away times for vehicles with bonded windscreens vary according to the weight of the glass, the number of airbags in the front of the vehicle and the outdoor temperature and humidity.  Some Urethane manufacturers say 30-60 minutes and two hours for the rear screens.

We recommend that your car sits still for two hours for any bonded piece and at least at least an hour longer in cold conditions. Any bonded truck or bus screen should sit for 5-10 hours depending on size and atmospheric conditions. Colder = longer.

We recommend that after any side glass or rear screen is fitted that you drive with your windows fully closed for at least 24 hours as the air pressure can cause the urethane seal to break and leak. The same is to be said for washing your car, a brush wash should not be used for at least 24 hours and a pressure washer should not be used for 48 hours.
